02How it works

From URL to a ranked
to-do list.

No setup, no tracking script, no verification dance for a first audit. Sitelens reads your site from the outside — the same way a search engine does.
  1. 01

    Add a site

Paste a start URL. Optionally limit the crawl to certain paths or exclude sections like /blog/tag/.

  2. 02

    We crawl it

SitelensBot follows internal links and your XML sitemaps, respects robots.txt and fetches up to 50 / 1,000 / 5,000 pages depending on plan.

  3. 03

    Prioritised fixes

Issues are grouped by severity and impact, each with why it matters, how to fix it and the exact URLs affected.

  4. 04

    Re-audit & track

Run it again after you ship — or on a schedule. Every audit is kept, so you see the score trend and what changed.

Audits that run
while you work.

SEO regressions rarely announce themselves. A plugin update adds noindex, a redesign drops the meta descriptions. Scheduled audits catch it the week it happens.

Scheduled audits & email reports

Set a schedule once. Get a short email after every audit — score, change, what's fixed and what's new.

04What we don't do (yet)

Honest scope.

Sitelens runs entirely on its own crawler — no resold third-party SEO data. That means we focus on what you control: the pages, markup, links and server behaviour of your own site. If you need rank tracking or backlink analysis, use a dedicated tool alongside us.

We audit sites you're responsible for, not your competitors' traffic.

06FAQ

Questions.

More in the docs, or ask us.

Do you track keyword rankings or backlinks?
Not yet. Sitelens doesn't buy or resell third-party SEO data, so there are no rankings, search volumes or backlink profiles. We focus on what you control on your own site: crawlability, on-page content, links, speed, security, mobile basics and social previews.
Do I need to install anything or verify my site?
No. Sitelens reads your site from the outside, exactly like a search engine would. There's no tracking script and no Search Console connection.
How many pages do you crawl?
Up to 50 pages per audit on Free, 1,000 on Pro and 5,000 on Agency. You can set a lower limit and include or exclude paths for each site.
What exactly is checked?
60 checks across crawlability, on-page, links, speed, security, mobile & UX and social. The full reference lists every check with why it matters and how to fix it.
How is the score calculated?
Each category starts at 100 and loses points per issue, weighted by severity and by the share of pages affected. The site score is a weighted average of the categories. Details in the docs.
Can I audit sites that aren't mine?
You can check any public page with the single-page checker. Full-site audits should be run on sites you own or manage — our crawler respects robots.txt and site owners can block it.
Is the free plan really free?
Yes — 1 site, up to 50 pages per audit and 10 audits a month, with no card required.
